Manager of School and Family Programs
The Farmers' Museum seeks a creative, talented museum educator to manage its on-site school and educational programs. The Manager of School and Family Programs is responsible for: initiating and implementing all on-site programming for the museum including school, and adult programs; coordinating programs with exhibits and educational events; hiring and managing a staff of 10 Museum Teachers; liaison with area schools and teachers; preparation of curricular and promotional material; and participating as a team member in institution-wide initiatives. Applicants must possess a B.A. degree in a relevant discipline, M.A. preferred; a record of accomplishment in the museum education field; and experience and knowledge of K-12 museum programs and practices.
