Perhaps you've already checked their website for their phone number and
called them, but the AIC (American Institute for Conservation of Art &
Historic Artifacts) in Washington, D.C. will give you free referrals for
conservators of all sorts of materials anywhere in the country. Have you had
a chance to call or e-mail the art museums in that region?
