Saratoga County, New York claims more museums per capital than New York
City, so collaborative marketing was almost inevitable. In addition to a
joint brochure and website, we also are in the process of creating
collaborative educational programming, a passport program, reciprocal
admission for our volunteers, and more. The group formed less than a year
ago and has received a lot of local buzz.

|For a session proposal for the 2004 AAM meeting the Small Museum
|Administrators Committee is looking for examples of cultural organizations
|in a single area have developed programs that provide joint PR and
|Marketing
|opportunities. This would include "passport" programs, joint publicity
|flyers, festivals. We are looking for speakers, but would also welcome
|information about the projects themselves for a reference list.
