Dear Colleagues,
Greatings from the public outreach office of the science and operations
home of the Hubble Space Telescope.
We have completed production on a trailer-length (2:51) IMAX film called
"Hubble: Galaxies Across Space and Time" that is intended for use as a
super-short 'added bonus' before a feature film. The film is available
for showing by institutional IMAX theaters in the USA with no lease fees
or print costs.
For more information please visit our museum resources web site:
http://hubblesource.stsci.edu
Click on the 'Large Format Film' link below the blue Exhibits and Shows
tab. (We'll be adding links to a low-resolution preview digital movie
clip and a full-resolution 5.5Kx4K frame over the next day or so.)
Our hope is that this film may serve as a pilot for a series of large
format film vignettes of the universe as seen by Hubble -- but that's up
to you (and your audiences)!
With best regards,
John Stoke
