Sorry if someone's already said this... I used to live in a house with 3
other people and our wireless network came relatively cheaply.

Cable modem: ?
Router: $100
Monthly  fee: $40
Wireless card for computer: about $50

We were also behind a firewall so security was not a problem.

My guess is that initial installation of a wireless setup for a small
institution shouldn't be more than a few hundred, maybe? Would a small
grant be a possibility?
