People have to check individual state firearm laws
before speculating.
I have a pistol permit in the State of Connecticut.
I can carry a concealed weapon in any public place as
long as it is not 'state property' like the state
house of the state archives, in which the Museum of CT
History is located.
If I chose to carry I could carry a concealed weapon
in a bank, at the mall, or at a private museum as far
as I know or am concerned. This is my understanding.
It does not apply to other states b/c I my permit is
no good in other states.
Contact your state police department.
