L'ICOM salue mise en oeuvre du deuxième protocole de 1999 de la convention 
de 1954 de La Haye sur la protection des biens culturels en cas de conflit 
armé, après
un vingtième  dépôt de ratification. Notre organisation doit continuer à 
oeuvrer pour que tous les pays du monde ratifient non seulement la 
convention de 1954 mais aussi ses protocoles additifs.

ICOM welcomes the coming into force of the 1999 Second Protocol to the 1954 
Hague Convention on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of 
Armed Conflict after the deposit of a twentieth ratification. Our 
organisation must keep working in order that all countries of the world 
ratify not only the 1954 Convention but its additional Protocols.
