Good morning all,
In my capacity as a museum educator, I am in the
process of putting together a teacher training
workshop on using Theater and Living History to enrich
a Social Studies Curriculum. This would be a full day
workshop, oriented to being used as a staff
development day activity. Not only would this serve
the community, but it is hoped to generate a small
amount of revenue.
I am at the point where I am beginning to market the
program to schools and school districts, but am having
trouble finding price structures for this. Do any of
you have any info on what a school would typically pay
to bring this in? What is the normal pricing for a
full day teacher workshop of this nature. If it
helps, I am located in central California and the
teachers would walk away with hands-on time at the
activities, as well as several lesson plans and
recources (bibliographies, etc.).
Alternatively, I may offer this as a workshop at our
office site. Pricing ideas on this would be
appreciated as well.
Thanks in advance,
Teri Pope
