Hello all,
We have some small cloth fragments and leather shoe parts that were
excavated from an early historic archaeological site in Iowa. Because of
our climate we do not often recover textiles from sites, and we are unsure
of the best method of permanent curation for these items. For now, the
shoe parts are temporarily stored in our standard 4mm plastic artifact bags
and the cloth fragments are in botanical jars. I am researching various
curation sources, but any suggestions from listers would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
