Pamela,
Perhaps the college where you teach has an AV office that can provide this
service for you. Or maybe someone at the University already has a good slide
scanner that you can use (sounds like a good student assignment!). You might want
to check with the professors who teach photography classes there.
Other wise there are many firms that offer slide to CD services - probably
even you local photo shop.
Or, if this looks like a multi-year project you can purchase a slide scanner
and burn the images onto the CD's yourself.
