Mountaintop Weather Observatory Manager
Mount Washington Observatory, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to
research and education, seeks a Summit Manager for its facility and operations
on the summit of Mount Washington, the Northeast's highest peak and "home of
the world's worst weather." Position involves supervising staff and
coordinating activities, as well as conducting weather observations and
participating in research and maintenance functions. Flexible and changing work
schedule required including time on call when not on site. Bachelor's degree
required, advanced degree preferred. Experience with extreme environments and
managing people. Anticipated compensation: $30k plus benefits. Please direct
