Hello all,
I have been asked to inquire what policies other
museums have about impersonators / first person
interpreters (not on staff).
We are wondering...
Is there a contract between the museum and the
impersonator?
What is the fee schedule?
Are the impersonators ever volunteers?
Are costumes provided? Or are they the responsibility
of the impersonator?
Do the impersonators do off-site programs,
representing the museum? If so, how is the
schedule/bookings handled?
If you have any questions about this, please email me
off list.
Thanks!
