There is a very cute restaurant in the Cloisters. It's called New Leaf you
might want to have lunch there. Call first, they are closed one day during
the week and I can't remember if it's on Sundays or Mondays.
If you are diverse and feel like traveling outside the Cloisters there are a
few really nice restaurants just a few blocks away. My favorite is called
Hispaniola and it's located on 181st Street & Cabrini Blvd. There is also
Jesse's Place on 181st & Pinehurst, and Bleu Evolution on 187th Street
between Fort Washington Avenue & Pinehurst. Bleu has a very cozy outdoor
patio. But the food in Hispaniola is REALLY good. They have a nice wine list
also. Tell Mariano the manager, or Junior the owner, that Tammy sent you.
:-)
Happy trails!
