At work we're thinking about putting out some kids books on a bookshelf in
our kids' hands-on room (the Quest Gallery). We want to prevent the books
from leaving with people, so I obviously thought of chaining them to the
shelves, a la the medieval library. I'd like to hear suggestions from folks
about how to do this. I'm guessing that the most basic method will be to
punch or drill a hole through the boards and block of the book -- not in
the spine -- and put a big ring in there. Are there better methods?
