Dear List Members,
(posted by Steve on behalf of Lonn Taylor)
In Julian Spalding's new book. _The Poetic Museum_ (London: Prestel,
2002), he refers on pp. 121-122 to "a recent survey of 130 museums in the
U.S. that have entrance charges" that shows what percent of the surveyed
museums' operating costs are defrayed by the entrance charge, Unfortunately
the book has no footnotes, and the survey is not listed in the bibliography.
Does anyone on the list know who did this survey and when it was done? I
would like to get a copy of it.
Thanks,
Lonn Taylor
