I can't imagine how much time it would take to review each message, one by
one. I know that I don't have the time to read all the messages, and delete
a lot based on subject line. I think message-by-message review is a lot to
ask of one person - particularly since none of us are paying for this
service.
I appreciate the rapid apology for the SPAM sneaking through, but I really
didn't notice it amid all the other SPAM I get anyway. In fact, I deleted it
before I even opened it to see the nekkid pictures within, b/c I could tell
by the subject line that it was not a substantive piece of information.
Most e-mail programs have very sophisticated (well, to me anyway) filters
that can be set to separate the wheat from the chaff. And there is always
the delete key. As another lister pointed out, this is the downside of life
on-line.
