My favorite movies are the Indiana Jones set that, while rarely set in
museums, repeatedly have the main character admonishing others that
important historical artifacts "should be in a museum."
Oceans 11 had Julia Roberts as a private art museum curator.
There was a novel entitled "Museum" that came out--I think--in the 1980s.
