You could contact the folks at the Florida Museum of Natural History
(www.flmnh.ufl.edu), they may be using something lilke this for their
current exhibit on living and fossil Proboscideans.
Also, the Potomac Museum Group (Potomac Museum Group, PO Box 27470, Golden
Valley, MN 55427 Phone: (612) 521-0421) is a company that makes museum
exhibits. They just made an exhibit on Elephants that may still be touring
the country. Jon Kramer is the director, he is a friendly guy.
Hope this helps,
Brian

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] elephant sounds
We are trying to locate a CD or tape with elephant noises that we can use in
the background for our National Historic Preservation Week school program in
the Elephant House. Anyone have an idea where I can find such a thing?
I've tried the internet and have been able to find short downloads of
elephant noises, but nothing that will be feasible for our purposes. I've
also tried amazon.com and the Discovery Channel store on-line with no luck.
If worse comes to worse we could always loop Baby Elephant Walk music from
the movie Hatari (which they did use in circuses). It will probably drive
us nuts by the end of the first day though.
Thanks for any help.
