You could use Marvelseal. It is a little more labour intensive but is really
quite effective.

Does anyone know the correct way to seal plywood to prevent "off-gassing"?
It has been recommended that we use PolyGlaze 146, which is quiet expensive.
Would anything else suffice? Would acrylic latex paint be acceptable or does
it "off-gas" as well?
