The University of Greenwich is pleased to announce a special
one day conference on September 12th, 2003." Counting
Culture? Practical Research Challenges for the Museum and Heritage Sector" - will address issues concerning research
and information collection in the cultural and tourism sectors.
Heritage, museum and tourism sites face increasing
challenges to produce information on visitors and organisational performance to meet governmental and funding
assessment criteria.This conference will address these
concerns within both conceptual and practical contexts.
Keynote addresses and workshops will discuss issues
surrounding research methodologies, visitor information
management and evidence-based policy. Full conference
