Oye Vey, this is one of the oldest of teacher legends: they're rich, have
long vacations and so nothing to complain about! In fact, the vast
majority of teachers make far less than the amounts quoted below for
Yonkers and Scarsdale (both expensive cities, by the way) and very few
profs make anything like $200,000 per year, let alone 2 million. Gretchen
Deitze may not be in the profession, but she's right.
