Katie,
We are in Signal Hill which is totally surrounded by Long Beach. There are
a number of museums here. It would help to know what type of museum it is.
There is Long Beach Art museum and Museum of Latin American Art but they are
not primarily run by volunteers. There is a Firehouse museum run by
volunteers. There are a couple of Rancho museums here which may be mostly
volunteer.
My niece just went to a very small museum on a field trip for her History
class. I'm not sure if it is an art, history, or decorative arts museum.
It also had a name that I can't remember (with a person's name in it I
think). I could probably dig up the information if this sounds like it.
If you have more direction I might be able to help.
