Also, remember ADA guidelines....to err on the low side may not be a bad
thing. (Yes, I'm only 5 1/ 2" and am fondly referred to by my friends as
'vertically challenged'!?! :) )

Every exhibit installer with whom I have dealt uses the 60" to 63" rule
for the mid-line in framed pieces, and that should probably apply to
video screens as well. However, if you are expecting to have a number
of youngsters, you might want to take your mid-line down to 58".

Hi everyone,
We are installing video screens for a natural science exhibit and
having a bit of a debate as to how high/low the plasma screen should
hang for maximum viewing. Is there a standard for this? I'm almost 6
foot. In my view, for optimum viewing by everyone, it should hang a
little lower than what would seem right for me, for someone averaging
5'6" or 5'7".
I appreciate the advice.
