I was glad to see this question--and answer--on the listserve a few weeks
back. I have a variation on this question. Does anyone have or know of a
list of museum studies (museologia´) books in Spanish? I taught Museology
in Latin America a few years ago and had a hard time finding very many
books that went beyond the theoretical. I am continuing my contacts with
Latino museum folks and would like to know if anyone has a book to
recommend.

Hello Irina,
For a selection of books on Museum Studies, visit the University of
Leicester Department of Museum Studies website.
http://www.le.ac.uk/ms/bookshop/booklist.htm
Here you can download your own copy of the full booklist as an Acrobat
(.pdf) file (780kb) to browse at your leisure. The file also contains an
order form for printing out and returning to the bookshop.
You will find lots more information on Museum Studies on the website,
particularly with reference to studying for a PhD, either on campus or by
distance learning.
