My housemate just bought a new bed and has a dilemma I
thought, perhaps, one of you might be able to send
remedy for. The bed is newly constructed, and it
smells somewhat of the varnish that was put on the
wood before it was shipped. Does anyone have any
ideas of how to get the smell to dissipate? Would
wood polish do it, or perhaps washing it with some
sort of a wood-friendly product?
Thanks.
