For our auction house client in New York, we are looking for a museum,
gallery, or auction house senior level specialist to head and set strategic
direction for revenue-generating department. The department head will act as
the primary business-getter in this fast-growing market of Victorian and
Barbizon works dating from approx. 1830-1900.  Must have extensive contacts
(domestic and international) in the field and ability to catalogue, appraise
and consign property.  A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
required; excellent interpersonal and managerial skills and business savvy
essential.  Salary:  $60-80K, and excellent benefits.  Interested applicants
