Jillian,
Because I use Orvus to clean the white gloves at our tiny museum and
because I frequently use it to clean the textiles in my personal collection
of vintage clothing, I bought the Orvus paste in a large quantity from:
http://apachechemical.safeshopper.com/63/9090.htm?905
This is the best per-pound price I could find on the Internet, but I
have four containers of it, at 7.5 lbs each. Quilt stores sell it in smaller
quantities, but at higher cost. As was also suggested, you can apparently
buy it at tack shops.
Perhaps you can buy it from Apache and share it with other institutions
or collectors of textiles -- or horses!
Lynne
