FUNDING COLLECTIONS CARE: A GRANT WRITING WORKSHOP
Registration deadline May 15th.

NEH Scholarships May Be Available
This three-day workshop is intended for curatorial staff of small to
mid-sized museums, and is designed to help secure funding to meet a range of
collections care needs. The class will combine lecture and
practicum sessions, and course work will include:
1. Prioritizing needs;
2. Identifying funding sources;
3. Stake driving;
4. Putting together the grant request: Precis, budget, narrative;
5. Reviewing grant proposals;
6. Building on success.
Participants are encouraged to bring with them copies of grant proposals
(successful or unsuccessful) submitted by their institutions.
While the class is intended to build on the collections care core curricula,
the core curriculum is not a prerequisite.
Enrollment Limit: 12
Course Fee: $700 (including accommodations)
