For new world archaeology, specifically, early 17th-century Florida, you
could call Mission San Luis in Tallahassee, 850-487-3711. They are doing an
"Introduction to Archaeology" camp this summer that will focus on the
Apalachee and Spanish occupation of a mission site. Additionally, the book,
Atlas of Archaeology, written by two of the "Time Team" BBC television show
staff, has great illustrations and provides great information. Good luck,
Karin

Subject: Workshop activities
I'm planning a series of children's (9-11) workshops on archaeology. The
1st is a general archaeology, 2nd is Egypt and the 3rd is New world
civilizations. I need help with the activities. Does anyone know of any
resources that would help? Thanks
Just when you think everything's going ok, the continents shift.
