This question may be easy for some of you, but I have no clue, so I would
appreciate any help you could give. Do any of you who work for state-funded
museums know if your institution pays state sales tax on admissions? Isn't
the state paying itself if this is the case?
Also, I assume your admission fee includes the taxes. So, if you have a
tax-exempt group come in, do they receive a discounted (admission minus
taxes) rate?
Thanks for any comments you can offer.
