I'm unsure of any manuals; however, it is a good idea to have current copies
of printed materials from sources outside of your museum that advertise
exhibits (current & future)and admission rates. (a AAA guidebook would be an
example of this)This helps clear up any confusion that may occur. Also, if
you are a children's museum, a box of band-aids and a box of stickers are
always handy.(actually, they are still handy even if you aren't a children's
museum!) :)
Good luck!

Subject: Information desk
Hello. Our museum is opening in less than 2 months and I am getting
together
a list of documents and items needed for the information desk (from plans of
the museum, and info on each of the galleries, to emergency procedures). Is
there a manual or guide online that anyone could refer me to?
Thanks, Adrienne
