Hi Liz,
Here in Decatur, IL., which is very central IL., we don't have much in
common to your reception. Occasionally there will be a buffet, but not very
often. If there is it will normally have roast beef and creamed chicken.
Most often the meal is a premade choice of beef or chicken. No, we don't
have cookie tables although I know several people who would love them. For
desert it is wedding cake, mixed nuts, mints and punch. Let's not forget the
alcohol. The usual size of the weddings I have been to ranges from 50 to 100
people.
