As someone who is relatively new to this list (I think about six months) I
must say that I have appreciated everyone's contributions to the
discussions. I found it intriguing that the Ghosts vs No-Such-Thing
discussion took on a life of its own. I certainly learned a lot about the
topic from a museum professional's perspective and from a cultural
perspective. And it just came from one person's musings about the topic. I
think the list is so useful on a global scale because we discuss hat
displays one minute and the place of supernatural occurances in museum in
the next minute. I am very glad that I joined the list because of the
diverse resource of people on this list and the interesting questions,
problems, and solutions that they pose. I always feel like the more people
pitch in, the better off we are as a society. So, I'll look forward to any
and all postings people have to offer.
