Elizabeth -- If you don't think it would be a conflict of interest to contact a vendor -- Neil Poch - President of Tour-Mate, is a wealth of information about audio tours. He could probably give you some good leads -- and might know about research in the field.
Neil can be reached at [log in to unmask] or 416/636-5654. Tour-Mate is based in Toronto.
Good luck on your project!

Subject: Children's audio tour
Hi
I'm a student at St. Mary's College and my senior project is a children's audio tour that will be incorporated into the general audio tour at Historic St. Mary's City--I'm having some trouble finding any research about audio tours. I've done some of my own, listening to other tours as well as being a part of the HSMC general tour, but other than that, I haven't been able to find anything. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great!
Thanks!
Elizabeth H. Keaney
