Community Service Opportunity in regional public history institution on
Lake Erie. A chance to make a difference, for the right person.
Experienced Manuscripts Processor sought for temporary position,
working with Sanford-Spencer Papers, a premier collection of late
18th century through mid-19th century documents revealing life in
Northwestern PA. Process this interesting collection and prepare a
finding aid for researchers and scholars; assist with a smaller
additional project. Share your wit and enthusiasm with colleagues
who will appreciate them. Nine month grant-funded position for
Processor with 1-2 years of experience (minimum). A sense of humor,
tact and high level of productivity encouraged. e-mail Annita Andrick,
Director, Library & Archives at [log in to unmask] for a full job
description. Interviews will begin February 8, and will continue until the
position is filled. Erie, PA, the “Forest City”, is known for its
invigorating winters and sublime summers. It is located ten minutes
away from Presque Isle and its seven beaches, within an hour of the
Pittsburgh-Cleveland-Buffalo triangle of cities. We regret that
relocation expenses are not available.
