The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is advertising for a Visual
Information Specialist (Graphics) to plan and design exhibits,
exhibits-related graphics, and all visual products for exhibitions at the
National Air and Space Museum's National Mall and Steven F. Udvar-Hazy
Center locations. Candidates must have:
1. Skill in designing interpretive exhibitions for presentation in a museum
environment; 2. Skill in the preparation of detailed technical drqwings and
specifications for exhibition design, fabrication, and installation; 3.
Skill in the use of computerized design systems such as AutoCad, Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator, and Quark Xpress. This is a federal position,
grade 11 with promotion potential to the 12--$46,469-$60,405. For complete
