EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Twelve-month, full-time professional staff position. Salary in mid- to high-
20s, with partial benefits. Start April 2002.
The Executive Director is the executive officer responsible for the general
direction, supervision, and management of the affairs of No Name Exhibitions
@ The Soap Factory, a 14-year old nonprofit visual arts organization in
Minneapolis dedicated to supporting and exhibiting the work of emerging
artists.
Duties include: work collaboratively to develop, articulate, and implement
organizational and programmatic goals that are in keeping with the
organizational mission; represent organization to the local and national arts
community and to funders; oversee development activities and fiscal
management. In first year, work closely with Board to define, fund, and hire
additional staff positions.
Qualifications: Arts management education or experience; strong leadership,
financial, management, and organizational skills; excellent communication
skills; success in fund-raising and donor cultivation; ability to act as a
persuasive spokesperson and liaison.
