Sara,
I just happened to receive in the mail a catalog from D.F. Barnhardt &
Associates - it's a catalog of rail equipment that other folks are trying to
sell. Their contact information is [log in to unmask] or 704/436-9393.
Address is P.O. Box 1089, Mt. Pleasant NC 28124.
As I said, this stuff is for sale, so maybe not possible for you.
We have a pump car and we have used it in the past for fundraising. For a
dollar, kids can ride in a cart behind the car while several intrepid
volunteers (and usually the museum director) pump the car up and down the
path. I don't recommend this, particularly! It's hard on backs, muscles, and
temperments.
