I just responded in some detail on Musejobs since the
question appeared in both fora. You may want to check
that response.
One of the nice things that Musejobs has is a great
group of individuals with varying levels of job
experience who are usually quite gracious and give
well-thought-out responses to just this type of query.
I was VERY impressed late this week with the nature
of responses provided by the group, which includes
several who have served in a supervisory capacity, on
the question about following up on a resume submittal.
That's something you won't find in periodicals that
just provide a list of jobs! Very nice touch since
discussing jobs here is not always looked on in the
best light.
