When I worked in Collections Care, we used a 3:1 solution of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and water in a spray bottle. We also used cloth diapers or jersey material to wipe. It doesn't necessarily leave a static free or nicely buffed area, but worked well for day to day maintenance and doesn't leave a build-up like some plexi cleaners had. It also works wonderful on glass and is very inexpensive. It evaporates quickly and doesn't leave streaks. I hope this helps. It sounds like you have received other great suggestions as well that I have forwarded on our Senior Collections Assistant. I am amazed at how much I learn by 'lurking' this listserv! Many thanks to everyone who participates.
