Museum-L,
In the past two months our museum has had two works slightly damaged by
visitors. As a result, our director has asked one curatorial staff member
to inspect the museum galleries on a daily basis. We are a medium size
museum, so this takes approximately 30 minutes. My questions are, do the
curators at your museum inspect the galleries? How often? Is this a casual
walk through? Or, is this a more detailed inspection of each painting,
sculpture, print, decorative arts piece, etc.? Does your security staff
find you stepping into their territory?
Thank you.
