The Huntington House Museum is seeking to expand its Exhibitions Commitee.
Participants should be Connecticut residents with museum experience. A
background in fine arts, education, or promotion/marketing is a plus.
Committee members will assist in booking and scheduling of exhibitions;
locating and corresponding with artists; developing exhibitions, programs,
and events; and developing collections and exhibitions policies and expense
plans.
The Huntington House Museum is a newly-opened museum located in Windsor,
Connecticut. The Museum is located in a large house built in 1901, lived
in by prominent Windsor resident Henry Huntington. The house was renovated
and turned into a museum by founder Dan Farraina in 2001, and currently
displays artwork in a variety of media and themes.
Please direct all inquiries to the attention of the museum's curator,
Andrew Goldstein. I may be reached via e-mail at [log in to unmask],
or by phone at (860) 688-2004. More information about the museum can be
found at our web site, www.huntingtonmuseum.org
