Assistant Director, Imaging Department
This is an exciting management opportunity in a first class Imaging
department. Supervise the Imaging office staff including archives,
new photography and licensing. Responsible for order fulfillment and
project management for internal requesters AND marketing, negotiation
and contracts for AIC image licensing for books, journals,
advertising, promotion, film, and electronic publication for outside
clients. Provides copyright advisement to relevant museum
departments.
B.A. in Art History (or strong minor) with minimum three years museum
and/or photo archives experience. Familiarity with museum
photography, digital imaging, image rights and reproductions. Solid
computer experience, Word, Excel, Web browsers, database structures.
Challenged by the future of image databases. Team leader, team
player, consensus builder, organized, creative thinker.
