One more thought.  Have you considered going for
sponsorship from some of the companies that sell
chicken (meat) in your area as an educational exhibit.
 Perhaps it could be an educational exhibit sponsored
by the vendor with a coupon redeemable for some
discount on their product as an incentive for having
been to the museum.
