Regarding if the SPAM sent by Case[werks]:
I feel this SPAM is a topic worth discussion on this list. This SPAM was a
marketing ploy used by a museum related vender.
Personally, I feel this was a very poor marketing move by this vendor. They
placed themselves in a negative light in front of many potential customers.
If I understand correctly, several states, such as Vermont, will be
introducing very strict laws in attempts to regulate unwanted SPAM. For
marketers such as the SPAMMER Case[werks], an unsolicited message such as
they sent could become a very costly mistake.
By the way, I was the person that originally posted the complaint about the
SPAM. I am very protective of this particular email address and hence the
concern about receiving the SPAM. I get enough SPAM at my other addresses
and it is nice have one email address I can use without receiving the
previously mentioned (quite humorously) messages.
