GALLERY INTERPRETATION SPECIALIST: The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art seeks an
experienced, versatile museum professional to develop, implement and
evaluate interpretive projects related to the Museum's permanent collection
and special exhibitions. Duties include: writing/editing interpretive
materials; working closely with curators on interpretive frameworks; and
developing innovative programs for audiences including junior colleges.
Requires demonstrated strong public speaking skills and interactive teaching
skills; ability to write engaging and accessible materials for the general
public; MA in art history and at least 5 years of museum experience. We
