I made a mistake on the last posting concerning this position. It is

MUSEUM EDUCATION COORDINATOR (GRANT-FUNDED)
CAPE FEAR MUSEUM
New Hanover County on the North Carolina coast (population 160,000) seeks
an Education Coordinator(Grant funded through the NC Grassroots Science
Museum Collaborative), to perform professional work developing and
coordinating educational and public programs for Cape Fear Museum, which is
the state's oldest history museum and is accredited by the American
Association of Museums. Reporting to the Museum Director and participating
as a key member of the Museum's management team, this position supervises
staff; monitors the education budget; develops, implements and evaluates
educational programs; writes and administers grants; represents the Museum
by participating as a member of community organizations; serves in absence
of the director as needed. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Education,
Museology or related field and 3 years of progressively responsible
supervisory and museum education experience; or an equivalent combination
of education and experience. Master's Degree with emphasis on American
History or Science preferred. Must be able to develop programs and recruit
volunteers and be proficient in computer software applications. Knowledge
of NC history and science and historic or scientific research skills a
plus. Valid NC Driver's License and good driving record required. Hours:
8:30AM-5:30PM weekdays; must be available for weekend work and emergency
situations. Minimum starting salary: $42,598 plus benefits. Position is
expected to last as long as grant money is available. Completed
