Exploris, a private, non-profit organization, is dedicated to encouraging
people of all ages to respect differences, appreciate similarities, and make
connections with people around the world. Exploris engages visitors in
dynamic, interactive exhibits and programs that explore our world from many
perspectives.
The following positions are currently being filled:
* Global Experiences Coordinator - IMAX and Temporary Exhibits
Must be self-motivated, forward-looking and creative, have an infectious
passion for the world around you, be quick to respond to changing
circumstances, and view this position as an opportunity to test new ideas.
Conduct informal programs on the exhibit floor with diverse audiences;
develop and facilitate fee- and non- fee based programs surrounded around
IMAX films and temporary exhibit themes; maintain exhibit and program areas.
Ideal candidates will have 2 years professional or 5 years volunteer
experience in formal or informal education; proven record of successful work
with groups of young adults; intermediate skills in MS Office '98 and the
Internet; success in multi-tasking and time management. Prefer international
backgrounds and experience living or working outside the US. This 40
hour/week position requires working on a weekend rotation with periodic
holiday work.

* Part Time Group Programs Educators (2 - 3 positions)
Conduct fee-based programs for classes from 1st - 8th grade during the hours
of 9:30 - 1:30 Tuesday - Friday; maintain program areas and materials for
these programs.
* Part Time Experientialist (2 positions)
Conduct informal programs on the exhibit floor with diverse audiences;
develop programs with a team; Saturdays and/or Sundays for between 6 and 12
hours per week.
