PBS had a game show for kids. ' Where in the world is Carrion Sandago"
Where the charter would steal some art item and hide all over the world.
The kids had ot use the clues to find her.
If you were to develop a museum consortium for develipment you could
have an on line game like that.
Yahoo and Excel have free games on line and you just get credits. The
Museum consortium could give free passes to the kids. ( Pizza Hut use to
give kids free personal pizzas for reading books. Of course the parents
had to take them to get the FREE one and would spend money. The parents
would have to have tickets to. But you could give a family pass to the
museum of their choice.
Get enough museums involved and families could not only go to their
local museums but to others on family vacations. You just might reach
that expanded group we keep talking about.
This might be something to bring up at your national orgionization. Let
them speak with some game design companies and some one like Yahoo to
host it.
This might not be as hard as it sounds.
