I've been distracted with the revamp of my employment links, or I would have profiled another of the groups today. We're enjoying some successes, and some are a little slower to get kickstarted, though each has participants. First, please remember that Aaron Marcavich (sp?) started the Publichistoryjobs list, which can be found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/publichistoryjobs The lists I created are as follows: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseAccess http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseAdmin http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseAssociates http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseConsult http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseDocs http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseFunding http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseIT http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseJobs http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseNews-Art http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseNews-General http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseNews-History http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseNews-Science http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseSmall http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseStudies Remember, the above lists were intended to be a supplement to this, the big umbrella. A fifteenth group is planned when the Mentoring thread is finished. It will be a Mentoring forum, not limited to Museums, and those who were not succesful in getting a match during the current thread may wish to be included there. I was asked about a place for technical staff. My understanding is that's largely where this forum comes in. If there's a need, I'll create one, but . . . And, for what it's worth, I gave serious consideration to creating MuseBlues. I suspect you know what that would be for, LOL. --- Lin Nelson-Mayson <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Indigo, would you be so kind as to re-post the list > of new Yahoo museum > groups that were just created?
